My name is Jonce George and I have founded Movement Rehab because I am passionate about helping people stay fully mobile and able to engage in and excel at all the activities that they enjoy. To this end I am constantly and fervently keeping up with all the most recent developments in this field and incorporating them into my work with clients at the clinic.
As a young person growing up, I was always into sport: Football, martial arts, bodybuilding/weight training, amateur boxing. While doing my weight training etc., I quickly seemed to develop an ability for gleaning information from numerous books and magazine articles on the subject and applying this to my training and the training of friends and other gym members.
This led me to study a diploma in Personal Training (PT) and Sports Massage Therapy in 2002 with Premier Training International. Once I started work; first as a gym instructor and then as a Personal Trainer I quickly realised that fitness as a goal on its own without addressing problems with posture, quality of movement and indeed nutrition was very short-sighted and would lead to further health problems, injuries and imbalances.
I went on to train in numerous approaches which all aim to free you from pain and help you to reach your full movement potential. I have drawn from all these approaches to create Movement Rehab.
